The Role
We're looking for an Implementation Specialist to own the client onboarding experience at 10X ERP. You will be the person our customers meet first and work with most closely during their transition to 10X ERP. That means running kickoff meetings, conducting on-site discovery visits to understand their operations, configuring the system to match their workflows, training their teams, and guiding them through a successful launch.
This role requires approximately 50% travel to client sites. You'll spend about half your time on the road, visiting customer locations for discovery, training, and launch support. When you're not traveling, you'll work remotely alongside our support team handling customer requests, troubleshooting issues, and making sure our clients are getting everything they can out of the platform. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, learning how businesses operate, and solving real problems.
The Product
10X ERP is a modern, cloud-based ERP platform built specifically for distribution companies. It covers inventory management, order processing, automated replenishment, CRM, accounting, and AI-powered insights. Our clients are distributors across industries like electrical, plumbing, foodservice, industrial supply, seals and gaskets, and more. They rely on 10X ERP to run their entire operation, and they expect it to work.
You'll need to know this product inside and out. That means understanding every module, knowing how features connect across the platform, and being able to explain it all clearly to people who are not technical. You will also be expected to identify opportunities where clients could benefit from capabilities they are not yet using and help them adopt those features.
What You Will Do
- Lead client kickoff meetings and set expectations for the implementation process
- Travel to client sites for on-site discovery, training, configuration support, and launch assistance
- Conduct discovery visits to learn how each client operates and map their workflows to 10X ERP
- Configure the platform for each client, including data migration planning, system settings, and user setup
- Train client teams on every aspect of the platform they will use, from warehouse staff to management
- Guide clients through launch day and the critical first weeks of going live
- Work with our support team between implementations to handle customer requests and resolve issues
- Develop deep product expertise across all modules and stay current as new features are released
- Identify opportunities for clients to use additional platform capabilities and help implement them
- Document common workflows, training materials, and implementation playbooks to improve the process over time
- Provide direct feedback to our product and engineering teams based on what you hear from customers
Who You Are
- Experienced with software implementations, client onboarding, or customer success in a SaaS or ERP environment
- A clear, patient communicator who can explain software to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable leading meetings, trainings, and presentations with confidence
- Organized and detail-oriented. You can manage multiple client timelines without letting things slip.
- Genuinely curious about how businesses run. You enjoy learning about warehouse operations, order workflows, and inventory management.
- Comfortable with AI-assisted workflows. We use AI tools across every role and expect you to do the same.
- Self-directed. You can take a client from kickoff to launch without needing someone to manage every step.
- Experience in distribution, wholesale, or supply chain industries is a strong plus
- Willing and able to travel approximately 50% of the time to client locations across the US
- Strong English communication skills
